Plan your release around a real date. I’m booking now, and your delivery date is locked before you pay. Song one usually takes 3 to 5 business days once your multitracks land.
Revisions
Song one keeps going until you love it. Every song after gets three rounds, then $150 a round, and I’ll tell you before we get there.
What you send
Your multitracks, takes comped. The export steps are in what to send, so your files are right the first time.
Vocal tuning
Tuned before the mix, if they need it. $299 for the lead or $499 for every vocal, named before you pay. Not sure if yours need it? Send them and I’ll tell you.
If it’s not a mix
You hear the truth before you pay. If what the song needs is production or recording, I’ll tell you instead of taking your money.

From rough to release in four steps.

  1. Send your song

    Two minutes. A link to the rough is all I need to start.

  2. Get a straight answer

    A personal reply with your price and a locked delivery date. If the song isn’t ready to mix, you’ll hear that too.

  3. Lock your date

    $500 books it. Send your multitracks and I get to work.

  4. Hear it. Love it. Release it.

    Your mix lands on your private page by your date. Notes go in MIXNotes, and your final files arrive once you’re happy.

Get your files right the first time.

Send them like this and every minute goes into your mix, not into sorting files. Not sure how your setup does any of it? Say so in the form and I’ll walk you through it.

  • The takes are comped. Pick the performances first. Your multitracks, not stems.
  • Every track is named for what it is. Kick In, Snare Top, Lead Vox. Not Audio 1_03.
  • Every file starts at the same point. Export from the very top of the song, so everything lines up the moment I open it.
  • One full-length WAV per track. No loose pieces, at your session’s sample rate.
  • Nothing printed on a track unless it’s part of the sound. If an effect is the part, send it both ways.
  • Your rough mix and a reference or two. So I hear what you hear, and where you want it to go.

I mix in Pro Tools. Files from any DAW work.

What if it comes back wrong?
The first song carries unlimited rounds. Every new project, and the first time we work together, song one keeps going until it’s right. I carry that risk rather than you, because song one sets the sound everything after it follows. After that it’s three rounds on every song, run through MIXNotes, so your notes land on the timeline at the second they belong to instead of in a paragraph I have to decode. Your copy comes with the mix. Need more rounds? $150 each, and I’ll tell you before we get there.
How long does it take?
You get a locked delivery date before you pay a cent, and I hit it. Need it by a certain day? Put it in the form and I’ll tell you straight whether I can make it. Song one usually takes 3 to 5 business days from the day your multitracks land, and I’m booking now.
What do you need from me?
Your multitracks, with the takes comped. Not stems, the actual session files: one WAV per track, all starting at the same point. I mix in Pro Tools, and files from any DAW work. If you’re not certain what that means for your setup, say so and I’ll walk you through it. See the checklist
Do you tune vocals?
Yes, as its own job, before the mix. On most records at the top, the vocals are tuned before they ever reach the mixer. If yours already are, great. If they aren’t, or you’re not sure, say so in the form and I’ll listen and tell you straight. $299 for the lead vocal, or $499 for every vocal on the song: leads, backgrounds, pitch and timing. Your vocals in tune and still sounding like you. Named before you pay, never a surprise after.
What if mixing isn’t what my song needs?
Then I’ll tell you. Plenty of what sounds like a mixing problem is really a production or recording problem, and you deserve to hear that from me rather than pay to find out. Mixing is collaborative anyway: what’s in the production, what you’re happy with, what you’re still not settled on. That conversation is part of the work, not something we have after it.
What happens to my files afterwards?
Everything lands on your private delivery page. After delivery, your session, stems and prints are archived in the cloud, so a recall or a new version next year is never a crisis. Keep your own copy too; I’ll still have one.
Have you mixed my genre?
Probably. I grew up on every genre and I’ve mixed most of them at a high level: gospel, worship and CCM, live worship recordings, pop and hip-hop, rock and heavy rock, jazz, folk, indie, singer-songwriter, reggae, ska, hardcore, emo, orchestras and a cappella.
