Getting Started

Download & Install Mac: Open the DMG. Drag MIXPrep to your Applications folder. Windows: Extract the ZIP. Double-click MIXPrep.exe inside the folder. |

Open MIXPrep Mac: Right-click (or Control-click) MIXPrep in Applications → click Open → click Open again. You only do this once. Windows: If Windows blocks it, click More info → Run anyway. One time only. |

Choose Your Settings MIXPrep will walk you through a quick setup — gain mode, peak target, and preferences. Takes 30 seconds. |

Activate Your License Go to Settings → Activate. Enter the email you used to purchase. Click Activate. That's it. |

Drop a Session Drag a folder of stems onto MIXPrep. Watch it categorize, gain-stage, and analyze everything. You're mixing. |
First time opening?
Mac: macOS requires you to right-click and choose Open for apps downloaded outside the App Store. This is standard and safe.
Windows: Click "More info" then "Run anyway" on the SmartScreen dialog. MIXPrep runs entirely on your machine — nothing is sent to the cloud.
Windows Beta Note
The Windows version is fully functional but still in early beta. If you hit any issues, just reply to your purchase confirmation email and I'll get you sorted. Mac is the primary platform and rock solid.
